Video From The Release of “Wired For Progress 2.0″

Wired for Progress
Last week I attended the release of the “Wired For Progress 2.0″ at The Center For American Progress. Wired For Progress 2.0 is an updated version of the original “Wired for Progress: Building a National Clean-Energy Smart Grid” plan that was introduced at the National Renewable Energy Summit earlier this year. The plan was written by Bracken Hendricks, a senior fellow at the Center.
Since I had attended the National Renewable Energy Summit without my video equipment and because complete video of that event is hard to find I wanted to record this event so that those who were interested but couldn’t attend in person could have a complete account of what went on there. Speaking at the event were bracken Hendricks, T. Boone Pickens, Senator harry Reid and John Podesta.
If you would like to read the “Wired For Progress 2.0″ report (and I suggest you do) you may click on this link to read it or download it as a pdf file. On that same page you will find access to the original “Wired For Progress” plan, as well.
Below is the first installment of 6 which encompass the whole 37 minutes of the event. I had to cut the file in pieces in order to upload it to YouTube. The other segments of the video can be watched on my YouTube page at this link.
