  1. Time for the really big push. Let’s get the PickensPlan out front. Obama got side tracked by banking and it looks like that plan may have some legs. Can’t do anything without banks. As energy independence comes back into the forefront as an economic opportunity we need to be vocal and visible. “Here’s the plan…”. If its well presented and unabigously unbiased we can sell it and let IT get legs so Obama can move on to the rest of his agenga while America moves forward.
Make no mistake—- this is our best chance. Let’s make the most of it.

  2. Excellent path to follow! As far as renewable energy goes I hope the USA gets going on this fast… and hopefully Canada does too. Here in Ontario the government is getting more serious. They announced Feed-in tariffs a few days ago. Truth is though other countries around the world are way ahead of us. Its time both our countries get going on this!

  3. The truth is other countries don’t just print more money when the people whine. I’m not going to go on record as supporting a big gas tax in the current situation but no sane society is going to continue to encourage dependence on foreign oil, especially to the extent we are. We’ve proven over and over the only way to get peoples’ attention is through their pocketbook. We have in the PP a real plan that does not call for economic pain (tax increases). Its about jobs and using our own resources. As we begin to make turning green a vaible dynamic money maker we will improve our lives, our economy and our independence. At some point down the road we’re going to be forced to make some tough choices, but this one is easy!

  4. Nice point Ted! Makes a lot of sense.
