Update: In order to encourage participation and give more of our readers a chance to submit their Greenspotting entries we are extending our contest – giveaways will now be done on a monthly basis from June through September.We hope this will give you time to upload your photos, so please keep an eye out for renewable energy during your summer travels!

Are you looking for an easy way to monitor and reduce your energy consumption?  Join our Greenspotting team and you can win a set of new products from Black and Decker designed to do just that!

Each month from June through September we will be giving away a set of Black and Decker Energy Saver products to the month’s top Greenspotter.  We’ll also be giving a set to a randomly selected Greenspotter at the end of the summer. The giveaway set includes a Black and Decker Power Monitor and a Thermal Leak Detector, which you can read more about in our post here.

What do you have to do to win? It’s simple really – just join our Greenspotting team by keeping an eye out for renewable energy projects in your area!  When you spot one, snap a photo on your cell phone or camera and add it to the Greenspotting Blog Post. You can also enter by submitting your photo to our Flickr pool or emailing us your entry at contact@buildbabybuild.com. The person who submits the most Greenspots each month will be named that month’s top Greenspotter and have his or her contributions showcased in our monthly Greenspotting post. Don’t forget to leave your contact info so we can get in touch with you if you win!

Contest Rules:

Total promotion is limited to 5 Black & Decker Power Monitors and 5 Thermal
Leak Detector.  Monthly winners will be based on the total number of
Greenspotting submissions. Only comments with appropriate responses that
follow the giveaway directions will be approved. Invalid comments will be
deleted since they do not meet the requirements for an entry. In the event
of a tie, a winner will be selected randomly from the eligible
Greenspotters. A final giveaway winner will be randomly selected and
announced at the end of September.
Greenspotters are only eligible to win once during the promotion. Winners
will receive one (1) Black and Decker Power Monitor OR one (1) Black and
Decker Thermal Leak Detector. Contest is open to U.S. residents 18 years of
age or older only; void where prohibited. Winners will be notified via email
and must respond within one week. If you do not respond within that period,
another winner will be chosen.
