The town of Greensburg, Kansas was completely devastated by a Level 5 tornado in 2007, and is now rebuilding itself into America’s first completely ‘green’ town. The town along with FreeGreen, the world’s leading house plan provider, and Greensburg GreenTown, a grassroots organization dedicated to community development in Kiowa County, are allowing the public to vote and decide which eco-home design will be used to build the centerpiece to the town’s eco-tourism learning center as part of The Chain of Eco-Homes project.

Global attention has been focused on this small town of 1,200 residents, and its efforts to ‘go green’.  Now the public is being asked to help shape this remarkable town’s future by voting from today until September 30th on the best eco-home designs, which were received from designers around the world specifically for this project.
